Therefore, the environment found in the traditional boarding school, or the therapeutic boarding school, is far better than that off other academic settings.  A great deal more is expected of the boarding school student, and the peer acceptance (respect one student gains from other students) is somewhat related to their level of academic motivation.  Meaning, it is very important to most teens to gain acceptance and respect from their peers, therefore most students in a boarding school environment are positively influenced as it pertains to academic motivation.
